SUMMARY

The focus is our Strategic OEM customers in the territory for sales of optical components and light sources for IVD-BIO Optics.  This position requires up to 50% time on travel.  Candidates located in or near the Eastern USA States are preferred although good selling skills and photonics knowledge are of higher importance.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

  • Responsible for developing appropriate Territory Plan and regional strategies to drive brand sales across a focused set of markets/products within their assigned geography.
  • AOP Revenue and Orders - Achieves or exceeds order and sales targets.
  • Identifies high probability customer prospects within area of responsibility.
  • Participates in developing sales proposals and presents proposals as appropriate.
  • Wins new design in opportunities with a focus on our top customers and strategic market applications.
  • Provides order forecasts, competitive activity and strategy reports, and lost order reports.
  • Negotiates terms and conditions of sales.
  • Notifies customers of impending product deliveries and negotiates delivery schedules.
  • Responds to prospects, customers and coworkers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Host customer visits to factory sites and at Trade Shows
  • NPD – Assist PSMs with strategic engagement with customers on products, markets, customers and applications that align with Product Solution Manager/Office of the CTO roadmaps.
  • NPD - Assist in developing and implementing product specific growth strategies and initiatives within their brand, and which is aligned with our Strategic Plan.
  • ITAR Regulations -  the employee must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident.
  • Collaboration - Able to team effectively across the global sales team to support customers

 

Preferred Product Experience:

  • Product technical knowledge for IVD-Bio products
  • Participate in Sales Meetings and training presentations/programs
